[9/6/2025] It's a double triple! Black Women in Sport Foundation Congratulates BWSF President Traci Green on being honored with a 2025 Philadelphia Legacies Awards Portrait Award. The Harvard Women's Tennis Head Coach Traci Green now joins her parents Dr. Tina Sloan Green and Mr. Frank Green, Jr., as the 3rd Green Family recipient of this prestigious Philadelphia recognition.

The Tennis Hall of Famer Traci Green is also the 3rd BWSF Leader/Hall of Famer to receive a Portrait award. She joins BWSF Co-founders and Hall of Famers Dr. Tina Sloan Green and Dr. Nikki Franke on this pedestal.

Green Honored with Philadelphia Portrait Award - Harvard University

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Traci Green, the Sheila Kelly Palandjian Head Coach for Harvard Women's Tennis, was honored this Saturday with the Philadelphia Portrait Award, presented by the Philadelphia Legacies organization.
The award recognized visionary leaders whose contributions inspire collaboration and progress, with each recipient immortalized through a commissioned portrait by a local artist.
Green leads a nationally competitive program while mentoring student-athletes, expanding opportunities in sport, and preparing them for success on and off the court. In 2025, Green led the Crimson to an Ivy League Championship, the programs first since 2018. With the title, Harvard returned to the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season.
With this honor, she joins an esteemed group of civic and cultural leaders celebrated for shaping communities, breaking barriers, and inspiring the next generation.
