Traci Green is the Sheila Kelly Palandjian Endowed Head Coach of Harvard Women’s Tennis; now in her 18th season leading the Crimson. Green is a 2022 Ragatz Family Coach of Excellence honoree. She is the First African-American coach at Harvard to win an Ivy League title; most recent championship in 2025.

Green is a Former Temple University Head Coach, where she guided the program to its first national ranking. She was an NCAA Champion as a collegiate player at the University of Florida. She was inducted into the Black Tennis Hall of Fame and the USTA Middle States Hall of Fame.

Green serves on the USTA Collegiate Pathway Committee and contributes to outreach, advisory, and consulting initiatives in the sport and wellness space.

Dr. Alpha Alexander is a nationally recognized sports educator, advocate, and mentor whose career has centered on advancing opportunities for women and underrepresented communities in athletics. She co-founded the Black Women in Sport Foundation, helping thousands of girls gain access to sports such as fencing, field hockey, lacrosse, and tennis.

Through leadership roles with the U.S. Olympic Committee, the Women’s Sports Foundation, the YWCA, and multiple community organizations, Dr. Alexander has promoted diversity, mentorship, and equity in sports on both national and grassroots levels. Her initiatives — including the Race Against Racism and numerous youth development programs — continue to inspire new generations of athletes and leaders.

Her impact has been recognized with many honors, including the Billie Jean King Contribution Award, the U.S. Olympic Committee’s Olympic Shield Award, the NCAA Silver Anniversary Award, the Institute for Sport and Social Justice’s Power of Sport Award (2023), and induction into the Ohio Sports Hall of Fame in 2025, cementing her legacy as a trailblazer in sports and social justice.

Shannon George is a community advocate who has been active in community building and uplifting for over 20 years. She successfully spearheads campaigns that fund scholarships, supports international educational programs, and uplifts underserved communities. She currently provides ongoing support to an international school in Jamaica, ensuring that young learners have the resources they need to thrive.

As part of her work in the community, she is a part of influential women-led organizations: George is the Chair of International Trends and Services for The Links Incorporated, where she leads global initiatives promoting education, cultural exchange, and social impact; She is Lead of the Stewardship Committee for Girlfriends, Inc., fostering member engagement and philanthropic giving.

Vanessa Mapson is the senior director of group sales for the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team. Mapson served as a management intern for the Philadelphia Women’s Basketball in 2000, which was the local organizing committee for the 2000 NCAA Women's Final Four. She has also served in important roles at key events, including fundraising luncheons that featured legendary University of Tennessee Head Women’s Basketball Coach Pat Summitt and Anchor/Reporter Robin Roberts, and various Championship Week Events.

Mapson is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a board member for the Black Women in Sport Foundation, the Junior Baseball Federation, and a board member on For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation.

Dr. Margaret Ottley is a Professor of sport psychology and kinesiology at West Chester University. Dr. Ottley is the Chair of SANKO-FA HP (HyPower Performance), Sport, Exercise & Performance Psychology. She served two countries at four different Olympic Games - Trinidad & Tobago: Rio 2016, London 2012, and Athens 2004; and USATF: Beijing 2008.

Marirose Roach is a licensed attorney providing competent and compassionate advocacy to those in need of legal counsel. She was named 2019 MVP of Philadelphia VIP, a pro bono agency in Philadelphia.

Marirose is the founder of FootballHers Inc., a non-profit organization created to advance the sport of football amongst women and girls. In addition to the BWSF she has served as a Board Member of the Philadelphia Panthers Football Team and the Harambee Institute for Science and Technology Charter School, as well as the Philadelphia Police Liaison Committee.

Marirose’s practice includes legal representation and counseling related to: Sports & Entertainment Law, Estates & Asset Protection, Business Transactions, Civil Litigation, Family Law and other areas of practice.

Lynnore S. Thames is an Adjunct Professor of the In-House Counsel Experience course at New York Law School James Tricarico Jr. Institute. Thames was previously a Business and Legal Affairs Executive negotiating and counseling on live stage theatrical productions with the Disney Theatrical Group. Thames was a Business Affairs Executive at ABC, managing on and off-air talent and production matters for network news and non-fiction programming.

Dr. Sheila A. Ward is Co-Director of and performs professionally with Eleone Dance Theatre.

Dr. Ward is presently a tenured Professor in the Department of Health, Physical Education, and Exercise Science at Norfolk State University. She is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), a Registered Kinesiotherapist, and a licensed Pre-K-12 Virginia Educator with endorsements in Dance Arts, Health and Physical Education, and Health and Medical Sciences.

Dr. Tina Sloan Green is Professor Emeritus in the College of Education at Temple University. She was also director of the Temple University National Youth Sports Program. During her 32 years at Temple University, she was co-principal investigator of Sisters in Sports Science, a National Science Foundation funded program.

She was the first African American head coach in the history of women's intercollegiate lacrosse, Ms. Sloan Green was head coach of the Temple University Women's Lacrosse Team from 1973-1992. Tina Sloan Green was inducted into the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association’s (IWLCA) first Hall of Fame class in 2017.
